After approximately 30 years of practicing, Dr. Wittig has decided to take a one year sabbatical to foster his personal and professional growth that will enhance the holistic care of his patients. Dr. Wittig’s patients are highly valued by him and he feels it’s an incredible compliment for patients or the parents of children afflicted with sarcomas and other musculoskeletal tumors to trust him and his amazing team to perform the complex limb saving surgeries and to help save their lives. He holds empathy and compassion toward patients and their families at the forefront of care and healing.
